Roadside Romeo is written and directed by Jugal Hansraj in his directorial debut and an Indian-American computer 3D animated romantic comedy film distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures in India, United States, and the United Kingdom as produced by Yash Raj Films. The film follows a dog named Romeo living in Mumbai, as voiced by Saif Ali Khan, and his girlfriend, Laila, voiced by Kareena Kapoor.
This is the story of Romeo as he is a dog who once lived in expensive surroundings. A dude who was living his life. He had the works – the impressive, huge house to live in, the cars to be driven around in, and the girls to party with. Until one day, the family he was the best loved pet of, determined to move and left him back, abandon on the main streets of Mumbai. Romeo is now absorbing the things he has never been in before. He is pretty early cornered by the local gang. He has managed to win the gang over with offering them haircuts. Though, they started loving their new styles and do accept Romeo as part of their own gang. He interacts with these four strays, who frighten the daylights out of him. But soon, he flattens talks his way into their hearts and he makes buddies. Then, Romeo finds true pure love in the form of Laila! As he came across the lovely Laila, the cutest girl he has ever seen – and he lost his heart to her at very first sight.
Finally, he confronts a villain! The fearful Don of the zone – Charlie Anna. The Don who everyone is scared of. Though Charlie badly wants Laila too. But the situation comes that Charlie is caught and chased by the city dogcatchers and in those circumstances Romeo helped him out of the complete messed up thing. So the time comes that Charlie himself tells Romeo that he is a stupid for leaving Laila when she still loves him that he explained everything to her and says she is Romeo’s and no one else’s.
He lets go of her hand and in the end, Laila started to run after the train, while Romeo holds his hand out for her. Resemble out a popular shot from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Anna reflects Where have I seen this before?. She stretches out for Romeo hand and hold firmly it but the handle he was holding had lost its top screws, making him fall off with Laila, after which they lift their front to each other and say I love you in synchronisation.
