Online PAN Card Apply

Online method is the most warm manner to apply for a PAN card. It takes few time maximum to complete the process. To avail, the new PAN card tax payers suppose to apply a form called Form 49A which is available online. So let’s see how you register your PAN card through the net.

Through NSDL Portal

Initially, you have to go through the official website TIN NSDL to apply for a new PAN card for citizens of India only.

For Indian citizens, do select on the New PAN card option

Now you will see a new page which is significant for the candidate. This page includes Do’s and Don’t in the application and guidelines for how to fill up a PAN card. Carefully read all the directions and select on Online Application for New PAN(Form 49A).

Now you will see a new page where the candidate has to give her/his own details. Now in the drop-down box of candidate type select the category type as Individual and select New PAN-Indian Citizen(Form 49A).

After this fill your personal information along with your Aadhar number if you have.

Carefully enter the security code and before submitting, thoroughly check your all the given information.

Select on submit and the now you will be diverted to the payment page, where you have to pay charges of Rs 94.

You can pay the amount by DD or Cheque in favour of NSDL or you can also pay the charges through e-payment like net banking, credit card, or debit card.

After the successful payment, you will get an acceptance number page which you have to take a print out.

Now place up your recent passport size photo in the acceptance paper and put your signature on the signature box with a black pen.

Now you have to send your acceptance receipt to the Income Tax Department along with your resident proof and identity within a time duration of 15 days of online application.

PAN card number is sent to the candidate registered phone number and e-mail address once the validation procedure is over.

Through UTIITSL Portal

initially, go through the official website UTIITSL to apply for a new PAN card.

On the top bar select drop-down box of Services and select PAN card.

Under the drop-down box of PAN Card select Apply PAN card to initiate the process.

Now select on PAN card as an NRI/Indian Citizens.

Select on Apply for new PAN card(Form 49A) and it will be diverted to a new page where you have to click Digital Mode to apply for PAN through online.

Now fill your all obligatory and personal information.

Once you finished check all your given information thoroughly and select on the submit button which is situated on the bottom of the page.

Select on submit and the now you will be diverted to the payment page, where you have to pay Rs 94.

You can pay the amount by DD or Cheque in favour of NSDL or you can also pay the charges through e-payment like net banking, credit card, or debit card.

After the payment, you will get an acceptance number page which you have to take a print out.

Now fix up your recent passport size pic in the acknowledgement paper and place up your signature on the signature box with a black pen.

Offline PAN Card Apply

Download the Form 49A from UTIITSL or NSDL portal and take a print out of it.

Now mention your all obligatory and personal information .

The mentioned information should be relevant to your resident proof and identity proof.

Affix your recent passport size colour photo along with all documents.

Now submit your form along with all attached certificates in the closeby UTIITSL PAN service centre or NSDL office along with application charges of Rs 94 through e-payment, DD, or cash.

PAN card number is sent to your registered phone number and e-mail address once the validation method is over and the you will get your new PAN card within 20 working days.

Can a human carry more than one PAN?

Obtain of more than one PAN is against the law. Hence a penalty of Rs 10,000/- probably be charged.

How UTIITSL or NSDL will verify PAN?
