To further enhance ‘ease of living’ and refine the ‘quality of life’ in rural zones by building a supplying of guaranteed tap water supply to each rural household in the nation by 2024, Hon’ble Modiji declared Har Ghar Jal -Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) on August 2019. Since then, Jal Jeevan Mission is being executed in partnership with States.
It is all about guaranteed service delivery in terms of fresh tap water supply to every household and public institution such as GP buildings, AWCs, wellness centers, community centers, CHC, PHC, ashram shalas, schools, etc. Jal Jeevan Mission focuses on developing the capacity of the local village community to attain longer-term drinking water security.
Given the execution of the higher influence of Jal, Shakti plans across villages, It is planned out to set up a campaign to get videos or Photographs and testimonials of meetings wherein beneficiaries express appreciation to the Gov.

Participation Guidelines
- Participator supposed to share Videos or Photos of Jalshakti works and commendations of the meetings of Gram Sabha
- On the occasion of uploading a video, participator must upload their video to any media platform like Dropbox, Google Drive, Youtube, SoundCloud, etc. and any social media platform such as Instagram, Twitter, FB and share the link in the submission box
- The word limit of the testimonial is maxed 2500 characters

Terms and Conditions
- All citizens of India may participate.
- Participators are needed to register themselves on the portal https://innovateindia.mygov.in/ by filling up a plain registration form
- Incomplete entries would not be scrutinized.
- All entries acquired through unauthorized sources or which are fraudulent, forged, reproduced, altered, mutilated, illegible, irregular, or incomplete in any manner or otherwise not in obedience with the regulations are automatically invalid.
- It is firmly counseled not to wait until the time limit for the submission of entries. Organizers will not be accountable for non-receipt of entries on account of server traffic/errors.
- The organizers book the right to reject or select any submission without appropriating any reasons whatsoever and without thereby suffering any accountability to the participant(s) whatsoever.
- Organizers reserve to modify the rules and cancel the competition, competition dates anytime. The Organizers will have no accountability whatsoever for any loss or inconvenience indirectly or directly caused to any Participator due to such modification of guidelines/cancellation of competition and the Participators shall accordingly not be authorized to lift any claims about the same.
- Once the participators have made submissions on the program, they shall have no assert even in the event of cancellation/stoppage of the competition.
- Dismissal/ voluntary withdrawal of members is not motivated. No other form of modification will be amused at any point.

Benefits and Features of UP Har Ghar Nal Yojana 2021
Under this yojana, water will be offered to the citizens of villages of Sonbhadra and Mirzapur through the pipeline.
This facility will be offered to individuals in a total of 2995 villages.
Under this yojana, water from rivers and lakes will be refined and distributed to rural households.
Through Jal Jeevan Mission 2021, now the individuals of the villages will not have to absorb the water problem.
The individuals of the village will not require to go far for drinking water which will save time.
A total of 41 lakh individuals will be benefited from this yojana.
The total budget of this yojana is Rs 5555.38 crore.
Under the Jal Jeevan Mission 2021, every citizen of the village does get clean water.

Jal Jeevan Mission Objectives
To offer FHTC to each rural household.
To give priority to the provision of Functional Household Tap Connection in quality zones, villages in dry period prone and desert regions, SAGY villages, etc.
,Offer functional tap links to community buildings, wellness centers, GP buildings, health centers, Anganwadi centers, and schools
To scan the functionality of the tap connection.
Promote and make certain voluntary ownership among local society through contributions in money, kind and/or labor and shaman or to say voluntary labor
Assist to make certain feasibility of water supply system, i.e. funding for regular O&M, water supply infrastructure a, and water resources.
To develop and empower human resources in this zone that addresses the demands of O&M, catchment protection, water treatment, water quality management, power, plumbing, construction, etc.
To bring awareness on different aspects and significance of safe drinking water and stakeholder participation in manners that build up water everyone’s business
Components of Pradhan Mantri Jal Jeevan Mission
Dev. of village piped water supply infrastructure to offer tap water connection to each rural family
Dev. of existing sources and Dev. of reliable drinking water sources to offer long-term sustainability of water supply system
Bulk water transfer to cater to each rural family, wherever required, technological interventions to eliminate contaminants from plants treatment and distribution networks where water quality is an issue
Reassemble of completed and ongoing plans to offer Functional Household Tap Connection at a minimum service phase of 55 lpcd; Greyhound Management
Supportive activities, i.e. capacity building of communities, water quality testing, and monitoring, water quality laboratories, development of utilities, training, HRD, R&D, knowledge centers, IEC, etc.
Any other unforeseen issues or challenges arise due to natural calamities that impact the Functional Household Tap Connection target of having each household by 2024, as per the rules of the Ministry on Flexi Funds.
