The main objective of the yojana is to develop new hospitals, medical colleges in village regions as we all identify that in such zones human are not able to get their treatment properly also nowadays India has been greatly pompous due to Coronavirus and in rural areas people are facing many difficulties.

With the presence of Scheme, cooperatives will be completely empowered as care providers.

The opening of hospitals and medical colleges will offer better treatment to the village people.

To introduce related services with an appropriate provision in the Act, Bye-laws in the nation.

To serve facilities of holistic and affordable healthcare through healthcare / hospitals / education facilities by cooperative societies,

To help promotion of AYUSH facilities by cooperative societies.

To aid cooperative societies meet the objectives of National Health Policy,

To help cooperative societies engage in the National Digital Health Mission.

To serve cooperative societies give comprehensive healthcare including education, services, insurance and activities related thereto.

Benefits

People who reside in rural areas are benefited from this yojana.

Rural areas will be generated by opening medical colleges, hospitals in rural areas.

Under this yojana, a loan of Rs 10,000 crore will be offered to the cooperative societies for opening hospitals, medical colleges in village areas.

The loan will be given for the opening of Medication Center, allopathy or Ayush Hospital, Medical College, Lab, and Diagnostic Center at an interest rate of 9.6%.

With the assistance of financial assistance i.e. provided by the cooperative institutions, government will also be able to open hospitals and medical colleges.

Activities Covered in NCDC Ayushman Sahakar Yojana

A) Infrastructure– This yojana would enable expansion, modernization, creation, healthcare, renovation of hospital, repairs and education infrastructure covering:-

  1. All kind of infrastructure (as mentioned above)
  2. remote assisted medical procedures and Telemedicine
  3. education, Logistics health, and healthcare,
  4. Information and Communication Technology connected to digital health,
  5. Health insurance accredited by IRDA.

    B)
    Margin money for raising working capital needed for day-to-day operations
    C) Working capital for day-to-day operations.

NCDC Role in Funding Cooperatives

When it was established, the primary objectives of NCDC have to promote and plan programmes for the following things:-

  • Production
  • Processing
  • Marketing
  • Storage
  • Export
  • Import of agricultural produce
  • Foodstuffs
  • Industrial goods
  • Livestock
  • Certain other notified commodities
  • Services on cooperative principles

Components of Ayushman Sahakar Yojana

The yojana will now be covering the following components:-

  1. Ayush
  2. Homoeopathy
  3. Drug manufacturing
  4. Drug testing
  5. Wellness centres
  6. Ayurveda massage centres
  7. Drug stores

The central govt. will do support education initiatives such as dental and medical colleges and those providing paramedical and nursing education. The only matter is that they must be a fully cooperative. Even if doctors come together to form a cooperative and initiate a hospital or a center with physiotherapy services, government. would be able to help them.

  • The scheme is formulated by the Nation Cooperative Development Corporation, the apex autonomous development finance institution under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers welfare.
  • This scheme helps in improving the provision of healthcare services offered by the cooperatives.
  • It is in particular covers modernization, expansion, repairs, renovation of hospitals, and healthcare and education infrastructure.

Step 1- Go through the Official Website under National Cooperative Development Corporation i.e. www.ncdc.in.

Step 2- On the Homepage, you will get the option of Common Loan Application Form.

Step 3- The Common Loan application Form page will be appear on the screen.

Step 4- On this page, you will have to select all the details asked such as activity/purpose of loan, type of loan etc.

Step 5- Now enter the required information and upload documents.

Step 6- Hit on Submit Button for the final submission of the application. In this manner, you will fill the entire form.
